I firmly believe that healthy eating should be enjoyable and sustainable, and I take pride in creating delicious options that align with my clients' dietary needs and goals. It's a privilege to be able to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through the science and art of nutrition. Moreover, I have a genuine love for healthy cooking and the adventure of trying new recipes from the simplest of ingredients. After a continuous desk job and complete ignorance of health, one sudden morning I woke up to excruciating back pain - and after a series of diagnoses and tests, I found disc compression in the lumbar and sacral area of the spine. I had two options - either opt for surgery or lose 20 kilos, so my body could self-adjust. After multiple trials of swimming, yoga, and physiotherapy, I think wanted something that keeps me motivated, provides me with proper guidance, and helps me shed weight and become fit again. As I started with Akansha as my coach, I realized that it is not an easy journey but also not impossible. The secret is consistency and perseverance over a long period. Inculcating exercise and diet as a behavior so that your body gets used to the regime, and then let the expert take care of rest. It has been an incredible journey with lots of ups and downs, periods where I felt like quitting, and then days when I started seeing the weights going down and it was those small bits of encouragement that kept me going. I am looking forward to toning further and continuing my regime till I reach my goal.
My coach Akansha was very professional and helpful in making me understand the importance of staying and eating healthy. I have hypertension and IBS. Believe me now after following the diet and exercise given by my coach, I am in the stage of taking the lowest dose of hypertension medication (which will be stopped in the next 2 months) and my IBS is fully under control. I balanced all my carbs, protein, and fat intake without fail, regularly exercised, drank plenty of water, and recorded it. The journey from XXXL to L was a disciplined ride. We need to have dedication and determination towards achieving the goal.
