Power Tips and Variations:
Some variations may include additional ingredients such as tamarind paste, paprika, cayenne pepper, or turmeric powder for added flavor and health benefits.
- The presence of curcumin in turmeric, a bioactive element, has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
- Curcumin has analgesic (pain-relieving) properties which help alleviate pain associated with conditions like arthritis, muscle soreness, and joint inflammation.
- Pepper contains a bioactive compound called piperine, which has been shown to improve the absorption of curcumin in the body. Piperine enhances the bioavailability of curcumin by inhibiting certain enzymes in the liver and intestine that break down curcumin before it can be absorbed.
