Health Benefits of Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is one of the most amazing gifts of nature .  Its no ordinary oil . Its therapeutic effect on the human body is beyond imagination . Right from diseases like Weight loss , Thyroid , Alzheimer’s , Parkinson’s  to Cancer and Cardiovascular ,coconut oil has the capacity to heal the body of every disease from head to toe .

Firstly the MCT’s .Very different from others, coconut oils is made up of MCT’s , medium chain triglycerides that gets metabolised in a pretty unique way when ingested . Unlike long chain fatty acids , MCTs are easily digested by the liver and converted to energy in the form of ketones. Whereas long chain triglycerides or fatty acids that don’t get readily converted into ketones end up getting stored as fat.

      1 tbsp cold pressed coconut oil, 1 teaspoon turmeric and a pinch of black pepper. You can have it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach if it suits you

    how much coconut oil everyday?
    In what form: raw or in cooking?
    When to be consumed (or can we take it midday between meals?)

    Yes and one more: for patients of Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and other cognitive breakdowns, kindly specify routine, once a day, twice a day, 1 tsp, 1 tbs… helps a lot. Families with such patients are already worn out with anxiety and clear instructions will really help them.

    That said, is there insulin resistance noticed in patients of depression, too? Hence can Coconut oil be given to those depressed? Kindly help.

    Can we consume cold pressed coconut oil or virgin coconut oil orally like 1/2tsp or so in the morning? I have ILD(interstitial lung disorder) as a consequence of MCTD and have recently diagnosed my TSH to be 9. Please suggest if having it orally would not affect my lungs.
