The 95% Solution: Reprogramming Your Subconscious Mind for Limitless Potential
We’ve all heard about the law of attraction and the wonders of manifestation, but why does it seem to work like magic for some and not for others?
That’s because we are just scratching the surface and unaware of the incredible potential our subconscious minds have!
Let’s Unlock The Limitless Power Within Our Subconscious Mind!
We all carry immense power and talent within us, but still, we are limited!
Why? Layers!
Layers of insecurities, victimhood, fear, anger, jealousy, and negative attitudes!
Did you know that your brain takes in 11 million bits of data per second?
It’s like having a supercomputer always running in the background while we do our thing. Isn’t that LIMITLESS?
So, what’s the deal with the subconscious mind?
Fun fact: Your subconscious mind processes 27,500 times more data than the conscious mind!
Here’s the catch! The subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between a truth and a lie or imagination and reality. So, we still have the power to change and program the subconscious mind.
Some might think, “I can’t do it,” but the truth is, we can. You can turn your imagination into reality!
Understanding this is the first step toward tapping into the immense potential that resides within us.
But first, understand – The Conscious vs. Subconscious Mind
Our conscious mind, the thinking mind engaged in the present moment, is what we’re using right now to absorb this information.
On the other hand, the subconscious mind operates behind the scenes, responsible for tasks we perform on autopilot. Brushing our teeth or tying shoelaces — these are subconscious activities ingrained through repetition.
Consider the multiplication tables. How did they become ingrained in our subconscious?
REPETITION!
A simple exercise involving waking someone up and throwing multiplication questions at them proves that the answers effortlessly flow from the subconscious mind.
It’s the same principle that allows a pianist to play a complex piece without reading the notes, thanks to countless repetitions.
Besides, cognitive neuroscientists reveal that 95 percent of our brain activity, influencing our decisions, actions, emotions, and behavior, operates beyond the scope of our conscious mind. A mere 5 percent of our cognitive activity falls within our conscious awareness.
So, how about tapping into this 95 percent right now while you read?
Here’s a simple exercise based on science and reality that we’ve done so many times before. But before we get into it, did you know that your thoughts can literally make your mouth water? Stick around!
The Lemon Challenge
So, close your eyes for a moment. Imagine a vivid, juicy lemon right in front of you—bright yellow, fresh, and organic.
Now, grab an imaginary knife, slice that lemon in half, and touch one of the lemon halves to your tongue.
Some of you might notice that you’re actually producing saliva!
What’s happening? There was no real lemon, just the thought of it, and yet your body responded by creating saliva.
That’s the power of thought!
But it doesn’t stop there. As you swallow that saliva, your body sends signals to your digestive system, getting it ready for a potential meal.
Your stomach starts churning out acid and digestive enzymes get on standby—all triggered by a simple thought.
Now, think about this: what happens when you eat with guilt versus eating with peace? Your thoughts influence not just your appetite but the entire chemistry and biology within your body.
Now, let’s shift gears.
Close your eyes again and picture someone you love—your kid, spouse, or anyone who makes you feel warm inside.
Notice the positive vibes? That’s the impact of a simple thought on your emotions. Now, switch it up.
Picture someone you don’t really like, someone who hurt you. Notice the shift in your feelings? It’s all in your head, literally.
Just the thought of a person, a memory, creates different sets of chemistry and biology within us.
This experiment highlights the profound impact our thoughts have on our physical and emotional well-being.
I hope this experiment made you realize the power within you. Now, let’s take the first step toward reprogramming your subconscious mind!
Reprogramming Your Mind: The Subconscious Blueprint
Remember, in the beginning, I said that your subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between a truth and a lie or imagination and reality?
Now picture this: you grew up hearing that you’re not smart, not attractive, or that your unique features aren’t ‘right.’
Guess what? Your subconscious took notes, and now those beliefs are driving your life!
Repetition is the Key
How do we change these limiting beliefs? It’s all about repetition.
Just like how we learned multiplication tables or ingrained the habit of brushing our teeth every morning.
So, ask yourself: What’s my struggle right now? Is it in relationships, health, or finances?
Identifying the struggle is the first step.
Reprogramming Your Thoughts
Now, think about what you want to change.
The most self-limiting thoughts are our own beliefs and what our subconscious believes. That’s the power of visualization!
I call it Vitamin V!
If you constantly feel unhealthy, the new program is, “I feel healthy.” If self-love is a challenge, it becomes, “I love myself.”
It’s not about denying your current feelings; it’s about building new, positive emotions alongside them.
Positive Affirmations vs. Toxic Positivity
Positive affirmations aren’t about sugarcoating your reality. If you’re feeling down, acknowledge it. But don’t let it define you.
For instance, if you’re feeling sick but overall healthy, repeat, “I feel sick right now, but I am healthy.”
It’s about changing the narrative without dismissing your valid emotions.
By only making these little changes, we start to put the new program in the subconscious mind.
I am safe. I am healthy. I am beautiful. I am strong. I love myself. These are so powerful.
Stay away from the toxic positivity, but stay with the new belief system.
The Mirror Test
Ever notice how your thoughts about your body affect your health?
Whether you’re trying to shed some pounds or dealing with a health issue, rejecting yourself in the mirror won’t do the trick.
It’s about acceptance. Look in the mirror, acknowledge your goals, and affirm your love for yourself.
Here are 4 Ways To Heal Your Body Using The Power Of Your Mind.
The Power of Attitude
Attitude is everything. You could have the best resources at your disposal, but a poor attitude can be the biggest obstacle.
On the flip side, a positive attitude, even in challenging situations, can reprogram your subconscious mind and pave the way for change.
Remember, this isn’t about avoiding reality or pretending everything is perfect. It’s about acknowledging your struggles, accepting them, and actively working towards positive change.
The Takeaway
Our subconscious mind is like a powerful computer waiting for new instructions. It doesn’t discriminate between positive and negative — it just follows the program.
Reprogramming your mind might not happen overnight, but with repetition, belief, and action, you have the power to shape a new, empowered version of yourself.
